Gabriella was just over a week old when we photographed her session. What a beautiful little newborn baby! I was thrilled when her mom called me after we met at a Sierra Mom’s Preschool Faire in Folsom. Incidentally, Sierra Mom’s is a wonderful group of mother’s who not only meet in the Folsom or El Dorado Hills area to socialize, but also fund raise and donate to charitable causes (usually pertaining to children).
As a professional photographer, it’s always great when we are able to photograph newborn baby boys or girls in the first two weeks of life. They are much easier to get to sleep and we love to capture those precious tiny features.
Gabriella was a wonderful sleeper (most of the time), so we were able to photograph her in a variety of sets at our Rescue Studio (not far from El Dorado Hills). We are always picking up more props and backgrounds, so that our clients are able to have unique images of their babies and children.
We also provide a variety of wraps and hats or hair bows for our little newborns. Did I say I love photographing newborn babies? We have “secret” professional techniques to help them sleep and stay that way for awhile. Although I must admit, some are better sleepers than others!
One of our professional photography services that we offer is a First Year Baby Plan. In this plan (we actually have three options), we try to first photograph mommy and her beautiful pregnant belly with daddy if he is available. Then of course is the newborn session at seven to fourteen days old (7-10 days preferably). Capturing those precious milestones in a baby’s first year is what we love to do for our clients. After the newborn session, usually three months, six months, nine months and then one year are our best times to create beautiful memories for our busy moms and dads. We also design a beautiful album that will help our clients remember those wonderful, cuddly times in their little one’s first year. Below are a couple of pages of Gabriella’s first year album. What a treasured memory to have of that little sweetheart!
