This young lady (six months old) is a member of the Quintessence “Precious Babies”, where we photograph her from shortly after she is born every few months until she is one year old. Her parents will get a beautiful album which will preserve memories of when she was such a little cutie pie! We had fun doing her six month session. She is so expressive! I do have to say, it was tough keeping on the head piece! Gotta be fast!!

Annika loved the pearls. She looked so cute with them on, and the were so yummy to chew on! (Yes, we do clean the pearls between babies!) This session was done at my Rescue, CA studio, which is only 10 minutes from El Dorado Hills. Lori and Nathan, are great parents, and they faithfully bring Annika up for her sessions from Rancho Cordova. This little girl is loved so much! Thank you Lori and Nathan for the honor of photographing your precious little girl!

We live and work in the best place ever for spring Easter Portraits! Just minutes from El Dorado Hills, the Quintessence Photographic Art outdoor studio (5 beautful acres) in Rescue is perfect. Featuring spring flowers, green grass, and cute little bunnies, this portrait session is a must for the little one. This year we have connected with a rabbit breeder who will be loaning us several 5 week old baby bunnies. We offer Easter cards, as well as many other beautiful print options of your child in time for Easter. Check out some of our Easter Bunny Portraits from past years. Our clients love this limited edition session and cherish the images that have such wonderful expressions on their children’s faces!

Little Grayson was born in early January and I had the honor of photographing him at just 7 days old. I happened to be in Half Moon Bay the weekend before and found this cute little cart that I purchased at an antique store and it was perfect to photograph him in. I traveled to his parent’s home near Murphys to make it easier on the tired mom who has 3 other little ones. I am happy to travel as short a distance from my studio in Rescue to El Dorado Hills or anywhere in the greater Sacramento or Roseville areas.

Grayson is such a sweet little boy, it didn’t take long for him to fall asleep after a good nursing. I assured his mom that he would pee (at the very least) and he didn’t disappoint.  Lucky for us, he was lying on his tummy when he let go! Grayson’s grandmother is also my source for crocheted hats, and she finished the hat with the braids (which I now have for other babies) while we took the first few images. Newborn babies are so fun to be creative with! You never know what you will get as far as expression, and they have no clue what you are dressing them up in! These image will be darling in a babies first year (baby program) album!

Have you decided on your wedding, anniversary, birthday or Valentine’s gift for your husband, boyfriend or fiancé?

Have you tried picking out the perfect greeting card and spent hours in the card aisle reading all the cards hoping for just the right sentiment?

Forget the card- Why not surprise them with a boudoir portrait?

Imagine his surprise when he opens that package to find images of YOU looking super sexy just for him!

What should you wear?

His shirt and tie, props from his hobbies or profession such as construction hard hat, firefighters turn out jacket, or golf clubs.

Take a shopping trip to Victoria Secret for something new or how about wearing that little string bikini?

Makeup for your session should be applied heavier than you normally wear with a more dramatic look. Think “Smoky eyes”. Consider wearing false eye lashes as they make your eyes look even more seductive. You will also want to have your makeup professionally done. We can recommend some awesome makeup artists.

These sessions are held in our private Rescue CA studio just 10 minutes from El Dorado Hills CA. Our 100% female staff will make you feel comfortable and pampered. For a complimentary consultation call (530) 363-0138.

The first day of “Train Days” in Old Sacramento was a stirring success! We captured a bunch of giggles, grins, and cute expressions, but this more solomn expression is one of my favorite images! Gavin was a pleasure to photograph, and very excited to be on a real caboose! We have a few openings for sessions Saturday…

I’m excited to be doing this portrait special in Old Sacramento! It’s the first time the California State Railroad Museum has done this type of thing, and I’m honored to be the first photographer to host such an event.

Here’s how it works: The sessions are every 30 minutes, which should give you enough time to get your child/children into the provided striped overalls, bandanas, and train hats, and then have an assortment of images professionally photographed of your “little engineer(s)”. Please allow another 30 minutes to look at the images right after the session. You will choose your complimentary 5×7 as well as order any additional prints that you wish. Christmas cards and other art pieces are also available. Most orders will be delivered by mail within four to six weeks of your order.

Mom, dad, grandma, or grandpa call Quintessence Photographic Art at (530) 363-0138 and make an appointment for a time on Friday, Sept. 9th, Saturday Sept. 10th, or Sunday Sept. 11th between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. I will try to give you a time that works with your schedule, as long as it’s available. The fee is $47 for the session (paid at the time the appointment is booked). Along with the session fee, you get a 5×7 print of your choice.

If desired, you may also email for a session appointment: gail@Qphotoart.com.

As mentioned above, 20% will be donated to the California State Railroad Museum to help pay to repaint the caboose!

These sessions will fill up quickly, so be sure to call today! Your little one will love it! (530) 363-0138
